Arches

For growing plants over, for framing views, for giving shape to a space and for accentuating a boundary or entrance.The first photo shows an arch which although in the middle of a garden needed to be large enough for a large van to drive through.

Pergolas

These can be built free standing within a garden or attached to one or more sides of a building..Also they can be built over decking and patios to provide some shelter from the sun and to give scope for planting climbing plants. Pergolas also give a degree of privacyfrom neighbours.

These are just a variation of the pergolas.

Collonades

These are elongated pergolas. Wonderful for making a walkway especially for scented climbers. Like pergolas these are useful for hiding views.
